About TX Mold Pros

TX Mold Pros helps Texas property owners find licensed mold assessors and mold remediators by county and city, and check the license themselves with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).

Where our listings come from

Our 2,205 listings are built from TDLR's public mold license files (October 2026). We include mold assessment (MAC/ACO) and mold remediation (MRC/RCO) licenses that were current and unexpired, with a Texas county on the record. That gives 1,065 listings with an assessor license and 1,216 with a remediator license; 76 listings hold both. Licensees with out-of-state addresses aren't included because our pages are organized by Texas county and city. Mold remediation workers, assessment technicians, labs and training providers are not included.

Texas licenses mold professionals both as individuals (Mold Assessment Consultants and Mold Remediation Contractors) and as companies (Mold Assessment Companies and Mold Remediation Companies). Companies are listed under their trade name with their city; TDLR publishes only a county for individual licensees. We combine a person's or company's assessment and remediation licenses into one listing. Listings cover 101 counties.

What we show, and what we don't

We show the licensee's name, license type and number, expiration date, county and (for companies) city. The TDLR company files also include street addresses and phone numbers. We never publish street addresses, ZIP codes, phone numbers or emails on free listings. We don't publish ratings, reviews or claims we can't verify.

Licenses can be renewed, suspended or changed at any time, so please verify on the TDLR License Search before you hire. See how to verify a Texas mold license.

How we make money

Basic listings are free. Licensees can pay for featured placement, which is always labeled "Featured." We may also be paid when we connect property owners with licensees through quote requests. Payments don't affect who is listed.

Corrections and removal

If your listing is wrong, use the listing form and choose "Correct my listing". If you'd like to be removed from this site, choose "Remove my listing" and include your license number. Your license record stays public on TDLR's own website.
